Rethinking Knowledge Work

My booklet, Rethinking Knowledge Work, examines knowledge work focusing on the essential role of problem solving (including how knowledge workers address different types of problems.)

I introduce a model of knowledge work based on four integrated dimensions - analytical, information, social and learning - as a way to understand how knowledge workers manage personal knowledge processes. In addition to exploring the a number of personal knowledge management competencies within the four dimensions I have included a number of suggestions to support and strengthen one’s personal knowledge management practices.
